Customer Service Representative – OEM

Starting Pay:  $15/hr

  • Potential for weekly bonus after 90 days

Status: Full Time

  • Eligible for Benefits after 60+ days


  • 1st Shift (8 am – 5 pm – Monday – Friday)


  • Hold a High School Diploma
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ customer service experience; OEM or industrial customer service experience helpful
  • Have a customer service orientation with the desire to grow and develop in a customer service capacity
  • Possess excellent math and reading skills to calculate pricing and interpret documents
  • Have strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
  • Be technology savvy with experience working with Excel and other windows based software
  • Demonstrate a meticulous, systematic approach to work with strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Be a strong problem solver and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a strong work ethic with a “can do; will do” attitude
  • Thrive in a team environment and conduct business with honesty and integrity

Job Description:

  • Complete all aspects of customer service including inbound/outbound calls, order entry, order processing, order follow up, and record keeping
  • Verify customer pricing and process quotes for OEM material
  • Review and enter all customer orders and ensure completeness, communicate order information with other DSI departments, and work with customer throughout order process
  • Assist customer with basic installation and product questions, recognizing the need for additional technical support when needed and transfer accordingly
  • Process and follow up on all special orders, returns, and back orders
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with manager and sales person regarding project status, concerns, and/or complaints
  • Set up, monitor, and ensure accuracy of all customer orders
